Shaker and centrifuge are key equipment in waste mud treatment, in mud dewatering and thickening. KES Separation with many years’ experiences can provide different model shakers and centrifuges to meet the requirement from customers. Our client in West Africa purchased 2 sets of waste mud treatment equipment and we provided jobsite commissioning service with our engineers in August 2023.

1)     Shale shaker working as primary treatment

Working as primary treatment equipment, shale shaker can separate the bigger solids and particles. We have2 panel mini shaker, 3 panel shale shaker, 4 panel big capacity shaker replacement to Swaco Mongoose shaker. This time, the client bought 2 panel shaker KSZS112-MM shale shaker for fit for the required capacity.  The shaker is equipped with US brand martin vibration motor for reliable performance and much better lifetime.

2)     Dosing unit with 9in mini centrifuge

After treatment by mini shaker, the slurry will be mixed with PAC/PAM chemicals for chemical enhancement, the fine solids will be coagulated into bigger particles, and then feed to 9in mini centrifuge. 

The 9in mini centrifuge is equipped with VFD control panel and the speed can be adjusted from 1000~3800rpm, stepless speed adjustment. The 9in mini centrifuge equipped with main motor and back drive motor. The back drive motor can adjust the differential speed in a more flexible way.

The Ex-proof motor brand we sourced from China big brand like Jiangsu Dazhong or Nanyang Weite.  Per request, we can also provide ABB or Siemens motor brand.

3)     Disc Stack Centrifuge

After separation by decanter centrifuge, the slurry with oil/water, can be further separated by 3 phase disc stack centrifuge.

The disc stack centrifuge working at over 6000rpm, can separate the water, oil and solids. Solids content in the feeding slurry should be within 5%.  Bigger solids content slurry is not allowed to feeding to the disc stack centrifuge.

4)     Filtration unit

After separated by disc stack centrifuge, the water can be pumped to the filtration unit for further separation. Where, the water quality will be further adjusted to meet the discharge standards.
