Shale shaker is the 1st stage
screening unit in solids control system. There are different models to fit different
work conditions. We can provide 2 panel, 3panel, 4panel, 5panel shale shakers. The
popular shaker model for oil drilling mud treatment is 4 panel shaker and 5
panel shakers. Our 5 panel VAST premium shaker now is working at Swamp rig in
Nigeria.
Desander and desilter are the 2nd
stage and 3rd stage unit in solids control system. They are shakers
with cyclones to achieve finer solids removal. And Centrifugal pump is usually
adopted as the feed pump to the desander cyclones and desilter cyclones. It
could consume up to 110kw to 150kw power supply. This is the most energy consumption
unit in the solids control system.
Centrifuge is the 4th stage unit
in solids control system. 14in bowl size centrifuge and 18in bowl size centrifuge
are most popular applied to oil drilling mud treatment. There are fixed speed
and variable speed configurations. Fixed speed centrifuge is cheaper in
purchase cost, not convenient to adjust bowl speed for different material separation
applications. Variable speed centrifuge is higher cost because of the VFD
control panel, but the centrifuge is flexible to adjust the bowl speed and differential
speed to achieve different applications. When separating barite, the user can
adjust the bowl speed to 1500~1800rpm; when separating the ultra-fine solids to
cut mud weight, the user can increase the bowl speed to 2500~3200rpm.
Drilling waste management generally refers
to the treatment of drilling cuttings, there are OBM cuttings and WBM cuttings.
We have different equipment to treat them.
For OBM cuttings treatment, we usually recommend
KSCD930C Vertical cuttings dryer with upgrade design and improved separation
performance. ( You can get more performance video by YouTube); Our vertical dryer
is equal to Elgin CSI-E3 Cyclone and CSI-E4 Cyclone.
For WBM cuttings treatment, we usually
recommend Filter Press with dosing unit to press the water out from the
cuttings and the user can get dried mud cake and clean water. Easy and simple.
